Merry Christmas to you all! May you find time to sit and meditate on the reason for all the festivities. If you are like me you’ve been running around: Christmas presents to buy, cookies to make, decorations to finish, programs to attend, visits to make, gifts to wrap, cleaning to do, dinner to prepare, Holiday movies to watch (Hey! It’s a tradition!), cards to write, songs to sing, and a million other things to do and everyone is in the way or moving really slow! Or maybe your Christmas holiday is very laid back, no stress, all smooth sailing, if that’s the case tell me what you do!
No, I really love Christmas time but sometimes I get annoyed with the fact that I get to wrapped up in the “show” and don’t take enough time to meditate on the amazing gift sent over 2000 years ago and how that gift changed my life. So to everyone out there:
Have a wonderful Christmas Day, full of the blessings of God’s gift to us, be sure to think of how that Gift changed your life or how it can change your life. God’s Goodness to You!
“Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.” II Cor. 9:15
