A Glimpse of My House Part 1

Here writes a busy housewife. She actually is at the library using the wireless internet. She loves her new "job". And it does keep her busy.

So many people ask her what her house looks like,
so she decided to take you on a tour,
room by room.
She try to take you to a different room each week.
First up, the most busy room,
The Kitchen.

Upon entering this young housewife's home
you will enter the large kitchen and dining room.
If you were to turn around and close the door you would find this:

Her favorite tools for the day:
Her aprons.
Nary a day goes by when she doesn't put one of them on.
Her favorite one was in the wash, she'll have to photograph that later
(it was from her husband on their trip to NC)

Recently found on the counter was a bowl full of apples,
which has since been made into some applesauce.

This view shows what one sees as soon as they come in the door.

The major appliances were already in the house.
The door you see is the door to the bathroom.

Turning around, this is the door you just came in.
I just noticed the fan looks strange because it was running when I took the picture.
Yes, there are peppers strung up by the window and a plant hanging over her sink.
And clean dishes in her drainer.

If you paid close attention to the above picture you may have
taken notice of the glass bottle collection on top of the cabinets.

These consist of old bottles that young housewife and her working man have
collected or found over the years.
The washbasin was an added homey touch.
