A Love Story - Part 1

So, For Christmas my sister wrote a story for me. What I realized when I began reading it, was that it was my story in a creative story. My sister is a great writer of short stories and such, probably because of her love for reading. To read more of her work click here. Needless to say, I thought for Valentine's Day I would begin to post the story.

A Love Story
Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, there was a lovely girl. She was not a princess, nor was she a pauper. She was just an average girl, with brown eyes and curly dark brown hair. Yet there was something special and different about her.
That difference was the fact that she wanted to serve her God, Jehovah is His name, more than anything else in the world.
She sought Jehovah’s will in all things and she followed where ever He lead, even if it meant separation from her family, whom she loved very much, more than anything, except Jehovah’s will.
Jehovah’s will called her away from her family to go to a different village to learn how to teach young children how to read, write, and follow Jehovah.
And all the time, there were two men watching her carefully. The first was in the same village as her, learning about Jehovah’s law. He liked the way she looked and laughed. He liked the way she acted and talked.
The second young man was quiet, and watched from afar. He knew that she was the only girl for him, no matter if she never realized it. He could only love her, and yet he remained quiet.
The girl began to talk to the first young man, and she realized she liked him pretty well.
But her mother knew better. For her mother had also been praying for Jehovah’s will for her daughter’s life. And she know that this young man was not for her.
Yet the girl let herself like this man, and though there was nothing inappropriate in their relationship, the girl’s mother prayed that it would end.
And it did. The second young man saw his chance, and he wrote her a letter, trying to explain himself.
