Warm My Heart

Since the breezes are blowing and coolness is coming to our mornings, I am excited for the coming of Autumn. Do you ever think how the words Autumn is more poetic and beautiful than just fall? Maybe it’s just me.
Well, because fall is coming my mind is turning to the cool crisp nights and comfortable, window-open weather during the day. There are things that warm my heart:
* Running across my Mom and brother at the grocery store and my brother wanting to hang out with me and finish shopping with me. (He may have wanted to get out of schoolwork, still he want to hang out with me)
*Hearing my Husband tell me I’m beautiful, even when I don’t believe it.
*Walking into my house and it smells good, like apples and cinnamon.
*Old memories revived.
*My brother’s innocence. Telling me the money that he made from the yard sale he decided to put in the offering. He could have kept it, but he realized he hadn’t given anything to God lately.
*Old movies watched under blankets.
* My daily afternoon routine- my husband comes home, we tell how our day was, then we sit and watch Leave it To Beaver, and he normally falls asleep during the second episode.
*Breads and Pies and Cakes and all things with apples and spices.
*Music that uplifts and encourages.

These are just some things that Warm my heart, or in other words that I’m so thankful for. What Warms your heart?

  1. What warms my heart is seeing Will love on his sister or me. Watching rain fall while drinking something yummy. Baking something for someone else.
